Hello everyone could anybody tell me the height of a madeira 27 . I know that the air draught is around 6 ft . But i have no idea of the height of her out of the water . Any information would be appreciated

Is that with the canopy down? Mine has been modified, has a different windscreen and a higher canopy. With the canopy up, it's around 8'9. With the canopy down and the screen folded, it's something like 6'6.

Just noticed you asked for height out of water. That's going to be considerably more. My boat is currently ashore, sitting on breeze blocks. I'd gestimate the total height to the top of the canopy is around 12ft.

I would be nervous about those blocks, they soak up water like a sponge and if they freeze they will explode into dust. Use wood!

The boatyard chock the boats up, nothing to do with me. There are about 60 boats in the yard all sitting on concrete blocks. My boat has been out over the past 3 winters, sat on the blocks. I presume the marina would be responsible if they failed. My boat will be going back in at some point in the next couple of weeks, just waiting for them to fit my engine.

Fair enough! I thought that by "breezeblocks" you meant those lightweight porous things, not concrete.
